Our attachment to Ax-Les-Thermes grew over many stays, in every season. From the ski slopes to the village markets, from days out in the mountains to the people we came to know.
Then came the house — a hundred-year-old home we fell for, and which was to change our lives.
We come from the Indian Ocean, and have traded white sand beaches for the cool air of the Ariège mountains — a complete change of course. Our wandering paths — Réunion, Mauritius, Madagascar, Bordeaux — and our years in hospitality and events led us quite naturally to create a place of our own, shaped by everything we have gathered along the way.

A place of quiet
We have chosen calm over distraction: there are no televisions here, so that you can truly switch off. Excellent WiFi remains available for those who need it.

Set beside the river Ariège in EnCastel, the leafy residential quarter of Ax, the Villa is a three-minute walk from the heart of the village, its lively shops and the cable cars up to the slopes.
The Garden
Lime trees, oak, hazels, lilac, hawthorn, wild plum, roses…
A garden of many species, made for lingering on fine days. From the breakfast terrace it opens out before you, with the mountains and the valley beyond.
The rooms
Five bright, warm and elegant rooms with hotel comfort: 180×200 beds (twin 90×200 on request), handsome private shower rooms and WCs, and bed and bath linen chosen with care.
Each has its own small detail that sets it apart.
